Introduction

Hydromagnesite is again a carbonate mineral. It is mostly linked with serpentine. The usage in the industry is the same with the huntite (Wikipedia, 2021).

About the Experiment

That is the follow-up experiment of the huntite study. To bring in the flame retardent feature of the huntite, hydromagnesite is necessary. Hence, the hydromagnesite sample is crushed with the roll crusher into -100 microns and screened dry in the Russell Sieve Machine. At the end of the process, the -100 microns sample is ready for flotation.
